International Activity - Familiarity with current international professional literature is a cornerstone of advanced academic research. An even more important contribution to the professional development of researchers is made by direct encounters with colleagues from around the world and the exposure of NBRI research to criticism and fruitful and illuminating professional discussion on an international level. NBRI researchers publish and reveal their work at international conferences and workshops, and when research is concluded successfully, results are published in international professional journals that are subject to meticulous professional peer review. A substantial number of NBRI researchers are on the editorial boards of such journals and are active in international professional organizations where they receive recognition and are of high standing.

The Technion has recently signed a research cooperation agreement between the NBRI's Seskin Virtual Construction Laboratory and the BIM research center at the Huazhong .University of Science and Technology (HUST), China
